These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of crispy-money.com (the "Site") and any purchase made through it, operated by CrispyMoney Ltd, a company registered in New Zealand ("CrispyMoney", "we", "us"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

General

CrispyMoney sells physical and, where indicated, digital books focused on financial literacy for young adults. Our catalogue, pricing and availability may change at any time without notice. Nothing on this Site constitutes financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and CrispyMoney is not a registered financial adviser under New Zealand's Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.

Orders & pricing

All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable, unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability, in which case we will notify you and issue a full refund. Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed; you will receive an email confirmation shortly after checkout. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, all products sold are guaranteed to be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and as described.

Accounts & conduct

You agree to provide accurate information when placing an order and to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to interfere with the Site's security, scrape our catalogue for commercial resale, or misuse our checkout, cart or quiz functionality in a way that disrupts service for other users.

Content & intellectual property

All text, graphics, logos, illustrations and blog content on this Site are the property of CrispyMoney Ltd or our licensors, unless otherwise credited, and are protected by New Zealand and international copyright law. Book covers and titles displayed on the Site remain the property of their respective publishers and authors, and are shown for identification and retail purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our original content without written permission.

Quiz & recommendations disclaimer

The Money Quiz and any book recommendations generated from it are provided for educational and entertainment purposes only. Results do not constitute a personalised financial assessment, and CrispyMoney makes no representation that following the recommended reading will produce any particular financial outcome. Quiz answers are processed locally in your browser session and are not stored on our servers.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, CrispyMoney will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, reliance on blog content, or outcomes related to financial decisions made after reading books purchased through us. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be lawfully excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
